B&L Group is planning the renovation of a former administrative building in keeping with its protected status and its conversion into a modern business hotel with 230 rooms and a large conference area. The building, which was built in the 1930s for the Gelsenkirchen Bergwerks-AG, is located centrally at the interface between Central Station and the Westenhellweg pedestrian zone. Completion is planned for 2020.
