The Green Heart of HPQ Living is Complete

With the completion of the landscaped courtyard, another milestone has been reached in the development of the Hafenpark Quartier. At the heart of the quarter, a green oasis has come to life – a courtyard the size of a football pitch (approx. 6,500 sqm), designed by Hamburg-based landscape architects BruunMöllers.

Over 100 trees – including cherry plum, goat willow, bird cherry and grey alder – form a light-filled grove, with some reaching up to eight metres in height. The private terraces on the ground floor offer secluded retreats with planted beds, seating areas and privacy screens. At the centre of the courtyard, lawn spaces, seating areas and a children's play zone featuring domes and balancing elements invite residents and visitors to linger. Gently contoured terrain and clusters of shrubs subtly divide the space. The path through the courtyard is paved with elliptical concrete stones, while the lawns are edged with natural and concrete stone borders. A forecourt area for guests of the Scandic Hotel complements the overall concept. The courtyard blends close-to-nature living with an urban lifestyle – a place for tranquillity and connection. The B&L Group is delighted with the successful completion of this central feature and extends its sincere thanks to everyone involved for their commitment.
